One of the most annoying things about having an email account is the presence of unwanted emails in your inbox from people who you do not know. However, the Outlook email manager program allows its users to filter out unwanted emails from a specific sender by using the Outlook email setup process. Below we discuss some easy techniques for blocking a sender from sending emails to you.

- Open the Outlook program by clicking on the shortcut icon of the program in the desktop and then click on the Home tab found in the top left corner of the application window.
- Now a drop down menu appears, click on the option named Junk to open a sub menu and then click on the Junk E-mail Options tab.
- The Junk E-mail Options window will now open up in the screen, look for the option named Blocked Senders and then highlight it.
- Now you will be able to see various options in the window, click on the Add button found in the window.
- You will be able to see that a new window by the name Add address or domain has opened now. In the text box provided in the window, enter the address of the user whom you would like to block from your email account.
- Click on the OK button for saving the changes made in the window and for exiting from it.
- Launch the Outlook program and then click on the Inbox tab found at the left side pane of the application window.
- Look for the email of the sender whom you wish to block using the Outlook email setup process and then click on it for selecting it.
- Click on the Junk tab found in the drop down menu that appears when you click on the Home button in the Outlook client.
- You will be able to see an option named Block Sender in the drop down menu that appears, click on it for blocking the contact. If the system asks you for confirmation, click on the OK button to confirm your choice.
